| Stara
Glass was established in Pisa in the early fifties under the name of
S.T.A.R.A. (Tuscan Company for Clays, Refractory scraps and Similar) and
specialized in the fields of demolition, collection and treatment of
refractory materials pertaining to industrial furnaces in general. The starting activity has then been integrated by rebuilding, hot maintenance services and design, as well as some agency agreement with the best worldwide-known refractory producers. In the last years Stara Glass has broadened its own activity outside Europe to non European countries, through the supply of design and engineering concerning turn-key plants. The company has recently implemented a Quality Management System complying with the standard UNI-EN-ISO 9001:2000 and has obtained the certificate of quality issued by "CertQuality", internationally acknowledged certifying authority. |

| Nata a Pisa sotto il nome di S.T.A.R.A. (Società Toscana Argille Rottami ed Affini), ha operato fin dai primi anni ’50 quale società specializzata nelle demolizioni e nel ritiro e trattamento dei materiali refrattari in genere, provenienti da forni industriali. L’attività iniziale è stata integrata da servizi di ricostruzione e manutenzioni a caldo, di progettazione e da una serie di contratti di rappresentanza, stipulati con aziende leader nella produzione dei refrattari e dei sistemi di controllo del processo produttivo in genere. Negli ultimi anni Stara Glass ha ampliato la propria attività oltre che all’Europa anche a Paesi extraeuropei, fornendo progettazioni e impianti chiavi in mano. La Societą ha messo in atto e mantiene attivo un Sistema di Gestione Qualitą, conforme alla norma UNI-EN-ISO 9001:2000 e ha ottenuto il certificato di qualitą emesso da "CertQuality", ente internazionalmente riconosciuto. |
